Nowadays, many schools in Hong Kong have started introducing 3D printing and robotics technology into the classrooms, as they recognise these technologies as important trends for the future. However, schools often only offer one to two computer technology lessons per week, and in large class settings, students rarely gain individual guidance. As a result, opportunities for hands-on 3D printing and robotics experience are still limited.

One of the biggest advantages of 3D printing is that students are no longer limited to learning through a fixed set of tools (Example: Lego). Instead, they can start from scratch, develop their own ideas, and bring their creations to life from the ground up.

4. Which DoDoLayer course should I choose for my child?
4. 我的孩子應該選擇層層學哪一個課程?
Our teachers and staff will recommend the most suitable course based on each student’s age, academic background, and prior experience.
For students with little or no prior knowledge, we highly recommend starting with the Fundamental Stage, where they will learn the basics of 3D printing and CAD design. After building a solid foundation, students can then progress to more advanced robotics courses.
If needed, students are also welcome to take an assessment so that we can better determine the most appropriate course for their learning level and interests.
